Grenillo v. Estate of Joel Hansen, civil action 2018CV31785, Denver District Court. Plaintiff filed a lawsuit against the Estate of Joel Hansen related to a 2014 motor vehicle accident involving Plaintiff and Joel Hansen. Mr. Hansen passed away prior to Plaintiff filing her Complaint, and Plaintiff did not file a lawsuit against the Estate of Joel Hansen until May 14, 2018. The Court agreed with Karen Wheeler and Jami Maul that Plaintiff’s claims against the Estate of Joel Hansen were time-barred by the applicable statute of limitation and dismissed all claims. The Court also granted attorney fees and costs to Defendant.
