Nicholas J. Deaver

Nicholas Deaver is a 2016 graduate of Baylor University Law School where he graduated Magna cum Laude and was fourth in his class. While at Baylor he was an editor of the Baylor Law Review and participated in the HNBA National Moot Court Competition, where his team won the Best Petitioner’s Brief Award and Best Oral Argument Award, sweeping the competition. Mr. Deaver obtained a bachelor of science in Political Science from Boston University in 2012. From June of 2017 until April of 2019, Mr. Deaver was the Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Randy Arp in Jefferson County. That experience allowed him to perfect his practical legal writing and his analytical skills and also gave him an abundance of courtroom experience. Prior to his work with Judge Arp, Mr. Deaver was an Organizer for a major political party in Denver, Colorado and Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Deaver received a First Place Award for Oral Argument and Best Petitioner’s Brief in the HNBA National Moot Court Competition in 2015. 

When not involved in his legal endeavors, Mr. Deaver is a devoted father and husband and enjoys sports and spending time at Coors Field, as well as other outdoor activities, such as hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
