Class Action Litigation

Wheeler Law, P.C. cannot be underestimated in defending large cases.    In fact, Ms. Wheeler (as sole trial counsel for our client) obtained a defense verdict for her client after a fourteen-week toxic-torts class-action trial involving claims in excess of $380,000,000.00.

Class actions involve representative claims through which one or more persons represent a class of individuals related to similar alleged injuries.  This is a method employed by plaintiff attorneys in order to avoid the expense of filing hundreds or even thousands of individual lawsuits.  Many believe class action lawsuits are a means to enrich plaintiff’s attorneys.  This article discusses one such class action in which the attorneys took all of the cash, while virtually all of the class members received a coupon for a free drink.
